Test Kit refills ?

I need to buy a test kit for my freshwater tank.

My question is would i be better off buying a master kit, or can i just buy the indivdual refills such as these http://www.bigalsonline.com/catalog/category.xml?pcid1=3233;category_id=3243

if i get the refills is there anywhere i can get the color chart for them ?

Don't buy the refills, its just the chemicals, and doesn't come with the color chart or the testing tubes.

Whether you buy a master test kit or just individual test kits mostly depends on what test kits you want. The Aquarium Pharmeceuticals Master Test Kit is pretty cheap and comes with pH, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, which are all of the really necessary tests.
