test kits

what is the best test kit to check my water ? i found this one at big al's, its 12 bucks,A.P. FRESHWATER MASTER TEST KIT - complete kit for testing tap water and aquarium water
,is this one anygood ?, what would you recomend

I use the A.P. master kit, and the only down side is that it doesn't come with a Nitrate test, I had to buy that separate. Otherwise it's great, normal and high range pH, both hardness tests along with the usual ammonia and nitrite.

Yeah I have the A.P. test master kit too and its great. Just get a nitrate kit serparate like Rob said. (**mental note, get nitrate test kit**)

I use the A.P. test kits for both fresh and salt water, They are the easiest ones!!

still havent bought it yet, you say it doesnt have nitrate ? it list it as one of the lest "* Tests water six different ways to protect tropical fish from dangerous water conditions. * Tests include: freshwater pH, high range pH, ammonia, nitrite, GH (general hardness) and KH (carbonate hardness). Kit features 4 test tubes, a holding tray for testing bottles, and test tube rack."

im also considering "HAGENTEST FRESHWATER MINI LAB "INCLUDES; NITRITE TEST AMMONIA TEST KH/GENERAL HARDNESS TEST pH TEST"

suggestions anyone ?
