does anyone know which end of the magnetic glass cleaner too use. One side is like velcro and the other one has felt. Also i just started my tank two weaks ago and i keep getting a film on the glass inside that looks like chaulk?

The velcro goes inside the tank, the felt on the outside.

Careful not to pick up sand when using your glass-scraper near your substrate. You pick up one grain and you'll likely put a nasty wiggly scratcjh in your tank.

I dunno what the chaulk stuff is, but expect a series of algae blooms in a new system.

The chalky stuff is most likely dust that was stirred up in the initial setup that sticks to the algae growing on the sides of the glass.
