Tetras. Do they prefer real plants?

Wondering if my neons and black neons would come out more if my tank was heavily planted with real plants as opposed to fake plants?

all tetras love a densely planted aquarium, i love making it just like nature so i always go for real plants, as long as you have a few you don't need to add CO2, especially if it's a medium sized tank (not too huge). I have lots of ambulia which my lemons and glowlights often breed in. they really seem much more comfortable with plenty of plant cover, go for gold

oh yeah some spiney driftwood is fantastic too, they love to swim through it and looks AWESOME.

Small leafed live plants . . . they love them. Not sure if plastic would work . . . might be too prickly.
