The latest Emperor or the latest Penguin?

As most of you might've already read my introduction post, you would be familiar with my 29G tank. Currently, it has the filter from AquaTech with BioFiber. Its quite impressive, but I feel that the Penguin that I had for my 10G has a better performance. As I was looking around online, I came upon the Emperor. Now, I have no clue on which to choose, Emperor or Penguin.

I need the pros and cons from you guys and the experiences for either or both of these filters. This is what I have right now:

Penguin - Enlarged BioWheel
Emperor - Two pumps (one takes in water and one sprays out water to the wheel.)

I do not know if the BioWheel for the Emperor is the same size, smaller, or bigger than the Penguin.

Another thing, which filter is best at keeping the water ultra crystal clear?

Depending on the choice, should I get one that says up to 30 or should I get a little bigger, like up to 50 or so?

Help me to decide, please.

Blah! No response about these two filters. I already got the Emperor 280 at PetsMart today. A great buy!

Edit for Question - Okay, the media basket for the Emperor, it is currently filled with Diamond Blend. Is there any other suggestions that I should fill the media basket with? Is it okay to fill half with Diamond Blend and half with something else?

WalMart only have the plain carbon and PetsMart has a few options and some of a different brand name. Diamond sounds like a trusting name and I chose Diamond Blend, because of multipurpose solutions.

Anyone going to respond? I thought there are people that knows more about this? So far, I've found White Diamond, Black Diamond, and Diamond Blend. What are the other options to fill up the media basket for the Emperor?

I do not fill my basket with anything.
There used to be carbon, Aquarium Pharm. but I have since stopped using it.
You could put another floss media in it, but mind is just empty.
The water is clear enough with the prepackaged carbon that comes in the Emperor floss cartridge.

I am using Marineland carbon on my turtle tank.
I quite like this brand and have tried several.
If you are going to use carbon, Marineland is my recommendation.
