Well, I had to move my bamboo shrimp yesterday in order to start a treatment on my tank on not kill him. Well, I put him in a little 2.5 gallon globe I have and went to work. When I got home he was still in there, but when I went to bed I checked on him again he was GONE:eek:. I checked all over my room and I even stuck my hand in the globe and dug around in the gravel to find him, but I had no luck. So I went to bed.

When I got up this morning, out of curiousity I looked in the globe again and low and behold there he was. That little guy had me up til near three a.m. last night looking for him.*ALL* lol. Oh, the joys of having invertibrates. Just thought you guys would enjoy my funny story.

This was years and years ago. My parents were not happy. Never did smell a dead crawfish either. The only thing I could think of is that it crawled into the wall where the hot water heat pipes were. We moved a couple years after that and didn't find it under any furniture.

But I also wonder if the stole it to release outside, it was wild anyway.

Yeah, except for this is a Bamboo shrimp. Total different coloring. Although I did have a ghost shrimp once and couldn't him one day. I think my female betta ate him:eek: :( *crazysmil, I also lost a gold long fin danio once. They might be with cinlnk's puffer and GIS Guy's crawfish. I'm constantly checking on my shrimp now though. Hehe, don't want to do that again. :D
