I recently bought 2 Kribensis a male and female both just over an inch long.

although they came from the same batch of Kribs at the LFS and were introduced into the tank together the Female is giving the male a stressful time and he is barely allowed to leave cover!

The female has coloured up well with a rosy belly and the male looks good as well obviously with all the chasing he isn't as bright as he could be at the moment.

Will he eventually pull himself together or is he destined to be forever pushed around by this tyrant female?

Also what age/size are Kribs able to reproduce?

Thanks

Just a guess, but I would say at somewhere around the size of 2in they should start to show signs of breeding, could be younger.

The only time I have witnessed any aggresion within the pair I have is from the female to male, and this only when she is protecting newly free swiming fry.
