Is it the blenny that is named Wilma? I remember someone had a fish named that but not sure if it was you. My kids name my fish. Well all except the name NEMO!!! That and all the other NEMO character names have been banned LOL. Great Beta Sir, I am still kicking around that idea too.

Yea, Thats Wilma :) Fred used to be a Alga Blenny that we had till he died. I have two friends with Betas in their tanks that have had no problems, butttt they also have bigger tanks than I do, one is a 250g the other 180g. I hope it goes alright, My fear is that some day he will scarf down a Flame Wrasse. Am going to get some feeder shrimp today for the tank.

Friend of mine has a Beta in his tank for 10 years, pretty old fish :) the fish is pushing 6 inches and for the size of the fish it really has a small mouth, I don't think it could eat a full grown Wrasse. Went to the LFS yesterday to pick up some feeder shrimp for the Beta, which I didn't get as he was out :( he did sell me some fresh water guppies :) I put them in the tank, the Clown Wrasse acted like he wanted to eat one but I never did see him eat one, I never saw the Beta get one either :( He stays in the live rock and is kinda hard to see. I have been feeding an extra Myies shrimp cube along with a few dry pellets, trying to get plenty of food in the tank and hope the Beta gets something to eat but I haven't seen him get anything yet. Thats not to say he isn't, I just haven't seen it yet. The guppies are all gone so I hope he did.

Thats good to hear, I would hate to have a display fish get mistaken for dinner. Once he get hungry enough he will come out if he is not eating. I got a black clown for my wife that will go into the 150G when its ready and he stayed in hiding for days, I thought he was dead!! Then about 2 evenings after assuming him dead there he was big as he is ready to go. I also have a fire fish that runs away to someone else's tank for about a week or two at a time it seams, as I only see him about every 10-14 days, go figure????
