The Protein Skimmer

I am in the process of looking for a skimmer for my 55g. I have read the sticky above already and it made me think alittle. I know how most people on here love the aqua remoras. What are some other brands that people like and have used? what makes the aqua remoras better than the rest?

i believe it is their ease of use and the effective skimming.

I have heard some positive reviews of the Octopus series.

I personally like the aqua remoras for hang on skimmers. I think they are one of the best out there......now if you were putting it into a sump, that is a whole different discussion.

What do you think about the CPR dual bak-pak? i think ive heard someone on here before say that they liked there bak-pak. Or the odyssea series?
