I am just contacting petstores to place my baby bristlenose that are about 2 months old.  I was thinking my male has been a little out of sight in the community tank and started looking for him.  Found him in the skull where the last eggs were layed.  Looks like he is on egg duty!!!

So tell me, why are bristlenose so hard to find.?  I am doing nothing special to breed, except habitat, male and female, and good food.  Things I provide (well except the M/F) for all my fish.

I think that it is easy to breed them  in a tank not based on production, but I believe it is not easy to raise the eggs artifically and thus it is not profitable. Although it is easy to get them if you know someone has a breeding pair.

Re: They are at it again!!!  EGGS!!

Dad does a wonderful job.  I sold 19 babies and just moved Dad and new babies to Q tank for growing.  I still have a couple of the old babies left, 1 or 2 will go to my sister.

The pet store was happy to get the babies and said they will be able to sell them at a lower price, since I gave them a good deal on them.  Bristlenoses for everyone!!
