Okay, so the otos in the tanks have done their jobs and rid the tanks of algae, now I'm afraid they are going to starve. What do I feed them to tide them over till the next outbreak?

There is usually always some algae growing and they eat it as it grows so you never see it. BUT... Otos also eat left over foods that your other fish leave behind. Might be benificial to get some algae wafers just to be safe though. You can find them just about anywhere.

I always boil my vegetables to make them sink, and make them softer. With only 2 Otos I think the Algae wafers would be better easier to feed than the cucumber or zuchinni.

Ya I Was typing fast and didnt proof read like I usally do. I have heard it both ways. Fresh and Blanched, Which way is better? I will have the same problem. I was thinking about getting a 10G tank and setting it up where there is a lot of light and place objects in it so they can grow algea on them the putting the objects in the tank so the Algea eaters has good alge to eat. I also want to do Vegies. My other fish Eat the Algea Waffers before my algea eaters can get to them.
