things in rear chambers???

my mandarin hopped into one of the rear chambers in my tank and while I was in there, I see all these things stuck on everything. What are these things?

sorry bout that. heres a closer pic. they dont move or anything and theyre squishy little things haha.

Those are scypha sponges (pineapple sponges). They're harmless filter feeders.

i have a million of those in my tank! also wondered what they were i guessed they were a sponge never looked it up tho.. nice to know what they really are!
