I don't see it being a problem to add the Gourami and another platy although I believe it should be another female. I believe platies should be kept in a 1:2 (M:F) ratio unless you do all females. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

It's a two or three to one ratio for livebearers. ;)

If you have the space, get two honeys. They're like pearl gouramis in that they don't fight eachother. All other gouramis will beat eachother up if kept in the same tank.

Check on aqadvisor.com to see how you're stocked. I've got a 29 gal myself. It looks like you could fit two honeys in the tank without much of an issue. Remember they're going to be shy for a while though.

I check on aqadvisor and it said that i can add a platy and i can add 2 honey gourami and be at a 88% stocking levell i thought the rule of thumb is one gallon is equal to one inch of fish or has that change.

The "general" rule of thumb is 1 "cubic" inch of fish to 1 gallon. (From what I remember.) People can get super crazy with calculations in the fishkeepers world. Some fish, by their size, produce less waste, or more waste and require more or less filtration. Others are less active fish and can be kept in smaller spaces, or vice versa. Aqadvisor isn't perfect, but definitely helps with general guesswork.

Edit: Make sure your filtration is up to snuff. I haven't kept platys, but if they're anything like mollies they're pigs.
