i want to swithch to a 10 glass so i can have a little bit more accsessability to the inside to feed and water changes and all that... also was going to use a sump ,goint to build a custom top and stand and i have 2 15 watt flourecents, would that be enough? i thought about going to 3 of these and using 2 actenic 420 and 1 10000k, this is all i can fit unless i get 4 other types of lights, and i want to spend as litttttle as possible to swithch, as for pumps and all that filters and so on. i got that already, but this is my plan
put lr in bu8cket with enough water to keep it good for an hour or so, put asmuch claer water in a bucket with fish, transfer sand over as gently as possible add a bit of clear water leaving some with fish in bucket to the tank as gently as poss. and adding lr and that water....areate the fish till the filter that i will put in some foam pads to quicken the settleing for a few hrs at most, my tan kseems to clear in 30 minutes when i do aything major.. then revove pads as i do not use them then add fish acclimating of course to temp and had checked the water to makesure i didnt set of some ph surge or anything beforehand. what yall think? i hope 1 10000kand 1 actenic will be ok for a FOWLR i would like to get 2 actenics in cus i like that color light and i got 2 bulbs , all i need is a cheapy light fixture to run it
