Thinking of adding a second filter.

I have a 75g tank, with about 25 fish. Right now I'm running an Eheim cannister (2215, if I recall). My LFS told me it should be plenty for my tank, but I'm wondering if more filtration would be better?

I can't see how it could 'hurt', but that's why I'm asking. Supposing it doesn't, though...would it actually help?

Yes that filter is plenty biologically speaking, but more mechanical filtration is always a plus. Not to mention on any tank larger than a 55 2 filters is a good idea, if nothing else just to have a backup in the even of a failure.

I agree with Pure. 2 filters are better than 1.....in a 75g.
