Thinking of Getting a 20 Gallon Tank

I was thinking of getting a 20 gal tank to put in a female guppy, a female swordtail, and two platies. Could anything alse go in there too? Thanks!

a few more guppies or platies, maybe a otto or 2 for groundkeepers, or any small catfish, not sure what else would stay small enough for that size tank.

Otos or cory cats are the best suited catfish for a 10 gallon.

Out of interest, why only females? They're likely to come from the store already pregnant, and before you know it you'll have multiplied your population, the result being an overstocked tank.

as misterking said,
an overstocked tank or tanks becomes a serious problem. trust me i know.
its tooooo much work.
im not in such a rush anymore to grab out fry.
i let nature take its coarse and its helped with my overstocking issues.
my fry tank is just a quarantine tank now.

I believe zebra danios would work.

In a 20 gallon, yes. I personally wouldn't put them in a smaller tank due to how active they are, they need good swimming space.

how many zebras? get like two or something. theyll do just fine.
