I was looking their my local reef club forum and found a yet another 20g tank for sell for $125 with everything even MH i think i might try and buy it 20G Tank, DIY stand filter, heater lights if you guys think it's a good deal LMK,

That is a very good deal. But I don't know if he is being truthful cuz the lights itself costs more them $125. If there is nothing wrong with the setup I would not even think about it and buy it. If I was looking for one. Not when I already have one setup.

you say it has hetal halides???? if so thats a good deal.... how old are the bulbs?? not that it matters at that price....find out exactly what lights

well i think i can find the money but i dont know about a ride... hopefully i can talk my dad into driving me up there to pick it up

EDIT yea i'll have to see and i'd probbly just use the lights for now it says it comes with 175hetal halides with 2 18 attics i think
but i'm still thinking about it as i could buy some nice corals with that money and i wont really be getting much money anytime soon...

Any SW tank is a good price For $125. I mean add it up. 20G tanks are $30. A stand is $50. so $80 so far. Then you have to add the Lights, Skimmer and Heater.

I say it is worth it. I would just buy it. Before some one else dose.

why would you want 2 20 gallon reef tanks?? i say just use the lights on yur tank u have now and maybe the extra 20 as a sump ... just a thought

TRe has a good idea. Not to say that having 2 20G reef's wouldnt be cool.

idk i think i'm going to have to pass this up... it's a very good deal but i rather get some corals and maybe frag them to save up for some MH for a 55g but this is just such a deal maybe i could see if he'd sell me the lights and make a frag tank

yea a 55 gallon isnt that much i think i only paid like $100 at pet supermarket on sale

If you watch the sale at the LFS I think it is Petco that will have the $1 a gallon sale on tanks. A 55g would be $55.

Yea i always seem to miss those sells but if i ever see one of those sells i'll be looking at a bigger tank
