Added here because they normally feed on the bottom like cats.

Folks, I've been keeping fish for years and I've made many "favourites".....yet the one that stands abouve all the rest has to be, the Darters.
They are so amazing with so much personality that I had to add them here.
Below you will find a few links with information pertaining to these amazing little fish.
They dart around, climbing on rocks,logs and vegetation like little cold blooded renegades.
These arent your corys man, these are the funny Darters!

Before collecting any wild animal, make sure of your local laws,...I dont wanna be blamed for wiping out an entire species,LOL.

Unfortunately I don't think there is anywhere around here for us to catch darters. Palm Springs isn't famous for streams, I can round up old people and tourists pretty fast though

i catch darters around here, not really any of the fancy kinds but still neat anyways

nice taste in fish.i really love alot of the native fish of north america.natives actualy have some really good colors,and darters have a great shape and look to them.

With their personality, it doesnt matter to me how drab their colours are...........they are amazing little fish!

I've always enjoyed native fish as well.
Probably because I can go out and catch them so easily,LOL.
Tomorrow I plan on an all day trip to the creek.

Makes mum feel better when I bring the wolves,we have alot of weirdos around.:|.
There has been a significant decline in the darters at our creek.
I've only seen a handful in two years.I'm pretty sure these are Johnny Darters.Not supposed to be endangered/threatened.
After I catch one I'll be able to examine it closer and get a proper I.D....then I'll take it up with WFAG.
