Tiger barb addition???

i have the following setup for my 65 gallon tank:

1 severum (pretty small)
1 kissing gourami (small)
1 festive cichlid (small)
6 giant danios (around full size)
1 clown loach (medium size)
1 pictus catfish (medium size)
1 bumblebee cat (small)

i was wondering if i could add a large school of tiger barbs, if i could, how many? i was thinking around 12 or so. advice is appreciated. any other ideas on what to add is also appreciated.

im not sure you could try they out and if they bother other get some more? also get a few mates for your lone clown loach.

I am guessing with 12 they would n't bother anything else! Besides, most of your fish should be able to take (and give) aggression, or at least outswim it.
I second fishface's reply though - you should have a few more clown loaches

i know, i used to have 3, 1 died from ich, and the other randomly dropped dead one day. im thinking that the clown would school with the tigers (same colars and marks) ive seen it in a book that that relationship between the two fish is common.

would about 12 tiger barbs and 2 more clowns be ok? would the tank be fully stocked after that? if not, could i get a group of cories (5-6)?

I have been reading everywhere that cories and botia (loaches) don't go good together.

12 tigers and 2 clowns sound good! i just got 2 more tigers today there so purdy and they seen to leave the neons alone more aswell. (also got a frog)

i will be getting 2 more clowns and 12-15 tiger barbs, depending on price. thanks for the advice and ill keep you guys posted on how they do.

well, the lady at the store (who was very informative) said it would be safest not to add tiger barbs to my tank. instead i got 8 neon rosy barbs and they are currently doing very well. thanks for the help

Do the tiger Barbs bother the Dwarf Frog?

I have 6 tiger barbs in my tank. They have yet to bother any of my other fish. They tend to just pick on each other and thats fine by me.
