I run a Coralife Aqualight 24" (2x65W CF, one 10k, one actinic).

The had been some salt creep up on of the legs and above the plastic "shield" beneath the lamps.

While removing the actinic lamp, it was very stiff, and upon replacing it, the lamp no longer lights (the 10k lamp works just fine in that slot, so I'm sure it's the lamp).

So, it's time to replace at least that lamp, and I might as well replace the other (and keep the current 10k as a spare).

Currently the tank is FOWLR, I'd like to look into adding a low-light coral or two in the next couple months.

What lamps should I look at? My current feeling is to replace the actinic with another actinic; should I be looking into something else?

Hey Josh - I don't remember your tank size but I am going to assume it is a 20g. If that is the case, I would replace the bulbs with the same as came with it (doesn't matter what brand). That amount of lighting should be more than sufficient for some low light type corals.
