Another desk guest for flipper?

Flipper keeps hanging out in the corner behind his cave where Eddies tank used to be and it bothers me some.

If I were to get another fish do you think another Betta or something different?

He alsohas been flaring at me since Eddies passed. he is active but not like before.

I will have to look into a femal for him to look at. Also I am not in to breeding them I just like to admire the looks of them, I wil let the experts have at the breeding.
