I have one med size severum in a 72litre tank with 4 platys at nightly feeds I give them about 5 green peas first then some flakes but the peas are gone in one go by the sev it doesn/t give the others a chance and they don/t seem to be interested in peas only flakes are 5 peas to many for one sev in a feed plus the flakes

UMMMM well that sevrum is going to eat those platy's in short order... NOT compatible. Not at all. Should be feeding flake and pellets for the sevrum and flake only for the plattys.

The Sevrum is a South American Cichlid, he will grow quite large and will become very aggressive. He will eventually eat whatever fits in his mouth.

A pea here or there is fine, the sevrum eats them because they fit in his mouth, and they are garbage disposals. Just feed him a cichlid pellet along with flake. re home either him or the plattys, seriously young plattys that have over spawned are actually used as feeder fish occasionally for guys like the sevrum. That being said move one or the other.
