Ok I used to have drastic PH swings until I found out about PH buffering capacity and all that good stuff. Well im starting a 20 gal. tank and plan on putting clay gravel to provide minerals. What I want to know is should I use carbon in the filter since all carbon really filters are metals and minerals?
