today i added rocks and the water got ....

today i added rocks it started 3 days ago i went down to the creek beds where i live now and found some rocks put them in a little bleach and about 4 gallons of water they sat in the bucket for about 35 hrs then i rinsed all the rocks off and scrubed thenm really good again then i boiled 3 gallon or more of water w/ the rocks in it  for a good 45 min or so then rinsed them off again all the rocks are sandstone and then i put them in the tank do you think it was too soon cause now my water looks like it is getting cloudy should i take them out please help me i dont want my fish to die i'll be sad if they do  :'(

I can't say about taking them out...but sandstone disentegrates in water...perhaps this is why you are looking cloudy?

not really cloudy any more just teabagish colored

Did you add any driftwood perhaps? If not, sandstone may cause cloudness perhaps!

yes i have had drift wood for a wek it is slowly getting less teabaggy as time goes on and i rinse the filter out

the wood is wats causin the teabaggin if u got carbon in ur filter it'll help take it out but since ur rinsin the filter and stuff it'll fade away over time, make sure it's not cement that just ended up in a creek i've found cement stones in my cuz's creek out back of his house when we were kids

i know what cement looks like thanks this is sandstone a big difference
