Hi-- been browsing the forum for a while (have found some GREAT information in various threads... many thanks to all). Thought I'd post a picture of my betta Tom Brady.

Do y'all happen to have any tips about photography? None of my other fish will sit still long enough for pictures. (Tom, naturally, is a ham).

Thanks gang,
-Rob-

WOW he's pretty, he looks just like my Mimi :D

As for photographing...I just throw in food (or with my bettas, i get a mirror to get them flaring) and then stick my camera right up against the glass, set it for close up with no flash and just start clicking...i usually get about 1 or 2 good photos our of 20-30. It just takes a lot of shots and a steady hand LOL

As strange as it may sound, I place one of the plastic peel and stick window stickers on the aquarium front, and my bettas, being curious, swim on over to check it out, and that's when I snap my pictures.

But as twoluvcats mentioned, out of 20-30 shots, there are usually only a few that turn out well, which is pretty typical of photography in general.
