I am a very inexperienced fishkeeper and I have a betta in a bowl - in the process of moving him to his own 7gal tank.

I think it might be helpful to have a sticky in the betta section with FAQ or Fact/Care Sheet on things like what fish are okay with bettas / which to avoid; minimum size bowl/tank to keep a betta; best water temp and conditions; frequency of water changes for bowl and tanks, etc.

I have experienced a lot of bad advise from some lfs on caring for my betta. And since I still have a lot of questions, I keep hunting around for answers. Therefore, a Fact/Care Sheet would be great!

It's just a thought...

i think you bring up a great point

Maybe there should be, because alot of people on this board have bettas, and some of them have problems with them aswell

Great idea...if someone wants to write it, just post it as a new thread and PM one of the moderators...any of us would be happy to sticky it in the betta forum!
