Transparent Hair-like Algae?

I just noticed a transparent hair-like growth on the inside of my riser tubes from the undergravel filter (powered w/powerheads). It's even on some parts of the glass. Does anyone know what this is?

it could be algae but it sounds a bit dubious. try cleaning it off and see if it comes back. a word of advice - if you have plants get rid of the underground filter as they will wrap their roots around it and if you ever needed to move them you would probably rip all their roots to pieces

It's could be hair algae but it ussually just floats around or attaches to plants. Pull out some algea and if it feels like hair and looks like it then get some ammo shrip
