I was wondering if there are any special containers I can get to travel with a single goldfish. He's a tough little dude, about 3 inches long and I have a battery operated air pump. I just was wondering if there was anything thats mostly spill proof.

Ive traveled with him in his 2 gallon tank but this year I will be forced to travel between Georgia and Maine via grayhound or something, and he would be with me in my lap.

I just was wondering if theres anything out there I can get to keep him in.

One when I traveled by bus I put my goldfish in a plastic bag and put that in a small cooler and packed towels around it. I just put it down by my feet, and every now and then I opened the bag and swirled the water. It worked just fine.

I had contacted an airline and they said it would cost me 70 bucks plus Id have to have a special container for him. I said... no way... and I will have to travel by bus or train.

I like the idea of the cooler---- like an igloo? I might do something like that. I want to get like a watertight container that I can shut when Im being jostled around and open when I can sit and let the air pump work.

...and keep it all in the igloo. Uber cool!
