hey all
i did some reading of old posts and would like some input
i read that commons need more than just algae to eat.
i read they like cucumbers, zucchini, shrimp pellets, algae waffers etc.
i also read that you need to boil the veggies for a few minutes so they will sink. doesnt boiling get rid of any nutritional value ?
and do you leave the skin on ? i think thats were all the good stuff is anyway.
any input would be appreciated.
thanks

I usually keep veggies in freezer, Thaw them out in tank water ,and clip em to the side of the tank with veggie clip or stick a fork in them and let em sink.

thanks guys
some of the old posts ( say 3 or so years ago are funny )
one i read was talking about life spans of placos and one poster that never fed anything said they live 5 or 6 years. then another poster replied his placos live for 10 or more years ! lol
he feeds different things, and thats why the one poster was only getting 5 years lol
dont mean to bore you guys i just thought it was interesting to see all the different opinions
thanks again
