Tripod tail

Just a curiosity question here ... My Ryukin's tail is "joined" at the top. I have no desires to show or breed the fish so it doesn't bother me. I bought him because of his coloring and long fins ... he's very pretty regardless of the tail being joined. My question is what do you call it? I have come across the term "tripod" but that sounds like a tail with only one lobe at the top that splits to a double tail below. But his tail is fully a double tail but the top two lobes are joined along the top edge. I think I saw the term "web tail" somewhere. Does anyone know what the "proper" name for these kinds of tails are?
