i have REALLY been wanting a tropheus of sorts.i would like to get one of the red morphs of the moorii, but i don't think it's gonna happen.so let me get to the point, what is a good price to pay for one of the three kinds:brichardi, duboisi and moorii.i know the savings when getting fish shipped, but i don't think it will get shipped fish.most likely gonna buy some in town if i do.i seen to red moorii's the other day(not sure which morph)but they were like $90.00 us dollars.i don't think so.

Do you know anybody locally breeding them? Does your lfs carry them frequently? If they only have them once in a blue moon, or have to special them then they won't be cheap.
Breeders
Auctions
Clubs
Mail order

The problem with the top three is you have a limited range. But 90 dollars seems a bit rich

not that i know of.we have a betta club and a reef club.both of which meet on days when i'm at work, the one downside of working the night shift.i would love to attend the reef club meetings.i may try the next san deigo tropical fish club meeting.but that not for a while.

Well a betta club won't likely much use to you. There's an 85 for sale with opitonal 10 Frontosa on the reefs classified section, so likely there's some hope there.
I only ever duboisi, but they were great. Online duboisi seem quite cheap. If you bought a big tank 125 gallons or whatever and stuck in some big boulders I think you could have a nice duboisi setup. I guess you could try adding some moorii later, I don't know how well they mix - ok I believe, but ask around for people who've tried
