Well, I thought I'd try to keep angels again and see if I have better luck this time. So I brought two new angels home today. If they don't work then I guess I'll have to give them up. So far they seem to be okay though. I could only get a good pic of one though, so here it is. This is Strider.

I'll try to get a good picture of my other tomorrow.

Just as I promised I got some more pics. The marbled angel is a little harder to get a good pic even with the flash they always turn out a little blurry. The first pic is him/her, I think I might call it Marly unless you have a better suggestion. The other two pics are Strider. Assuming it's a boy, he's my favorite of the two (because he's black(I've had a hard time keeping black angels a live) and more out going)and seems to be the leader. He also seems to like the camera more and thus follows me around the tank when I'm present. Enjoy and if you have any name suggestions for the marbled angel let me know.:D

Thanks for the comments guys. You know BV, I didn't notice the rusty color of his pectorals, but you're right. I like it too. That's one thing I love about angels, they are always surprising me with their colors. I had a silver angel a little while ago that had a metallic blue color to his pectorals when he was in the right light. I think Marly is getting more used to the tank. He's showing his marbled color more often and is getting to be more out going. He's also flicking his pectorals at Strider. Does that mean anything significant breeding wise? Or is it just a dominance thing? Thanks again.

Well, so far so good. The problem I had last time seems to be no more. For a while when I tried to replace my angels I would loose them in about two to three days. These two guys though are swimming about having a great time. They're eating (which is a very good sign because my last angels stopped eating just before they died), they aren't gasping for air at the top of the tank like the others did before they died and they are getting along (with each other as well as the other fish). :D Marley isn't so shy anymore and is showing his marbled color more often than not. Also, they both swim up to the front of the tank when I approach it. Right now these two are my favorites of the tank. Here's a few pics of them.

Strider (don't you just love the color of his eyes)

Marley (you can see his marble color a bit the first photo, the other is the best picture I have taken of him)
