So I bought a paclage of these tubifex worms and it says to feed you press the cube of worms firmly against the side of the tank and the wish will come eat it. However, the cube doesn't stay on the glass. It sticks for about 5 seconds and then floats to the top where the fish ignore it. Is this a common problem?

I trained all of my fish to eat out of one of those floating rings (at least those fish that will eat commercially prepared food). I feed about a third of one of the cubes, but I break it up into crumbles. They eat it just like flake food from the ring.

If your fish eat in the middle or bottom of the tank, it would be hard to get them to eat this type of food. I have enough that eat at the surface and will eat it as a treat.

Same here. It doesn't stick. My angels and bettas don't like it. My livebearers are hogs and will eat anything that doesn't eat them first. They chase the cube around til it falls apart.
