Tuna Catfish???

What is another name for a tuna cat. I cant find any information about it at all. I can provide pics if need be. It is about 3 in long and 3 black stripes and 3 sliver stripes. Short whiskers and eyes are on the side of the head. Not a raphael striped.

Pictures would probably be the best bet for helping us with an ID. Descriptions are often vague and how I would describe something is not necessarily the way you would describe it.

Alright just remember the stripes are black and silver. Wide head and stout body. The store had him listed as tuna cat. He is approximately 3 in.

I'm going with misterking on this one. That's an iridescent shark. They get absolutely MASSIVE. They reach 4 feet (48") in length and require huge tanks. They are very active fish. TBH, I don't think they belong in the home aquarium.

Holy crap. Totally not what I expected. I never thought it was a fish that would grow that big. I guess that is my fault. I never get a fish without researching but for some reason I saw him and had to get it. I thank you for the help.

I see them called Swai also in the Oriential fish market in my town.

I made the same mistake with my tiger shovelnose/redtail cat hybrid. I know he would get big and outgrow my 55 but I never expected it to grow as fast as it did and now I need to get rid of him as he has eaten over half my fish in my 55 lol.

Considering the catfish you are referring to isn't readily available in the aquarium trade, I *highly* doubt the OP has one.
