tweakig a old mars unit from a wallmart

hi all *SUNSMILE* i'm glad to say that the wallmart dow the street is getting rid of its fish yay
i'm allso happy to say I will be getting the leftover stresscote jugs & fish food lots of food*SUPERSMIL
yes my questio is on the mars units they use. one appears to be a stand alone from the other two the pump seams to be separate I want to kow if it would be posible to take out the uv light filter thing & ru the system without the new water
system I want to know if it would be posible to tweek it eough to get it workig decetly and actualy use it for a day to day aquarium

i think it would look neat as a fish tank

if it could be tweaked what would i have to do?

I'd say it's almost certainly possible to rig up the system for home use, you just have to work out how Is it on a sump or wet/dry system?

i thik it's a sump with a bio whele & that darn uv light filter thig the new water system brigs i 2 gallos of ew water evry 2 houers or somethig & drais away 2 gallos of old water
