i wanna get some asian gars because they look awesome. can anyone tell me about them?  all the info i can find on the internet is about gars in the water.  please help. thanks

try fishprofiles.com i dunno much about asian gar but i know they have a couple varety of gars on that page and hope u have a large enough tank to keep it when it grows up

Don't get gars. Gars are bad. Gars want to eat your fingers. Gars produce lots of waste because they are highly carniverous. Most gars also grow very large and unless you have over 100 gallons you'll never have it for long.  There is no tankmate I know of that won't get eaten by a gar.

Hey there, don't have any info for you. But here's some pictures I taken from a LFS. Hell, I thought I saw an aligator when I first saw it.
I would love to have a gar, but logically it won't work.

hehw hen i was young i used to go to a tree fort that hung over water and there was always a group of florida gar under it just chillin caught them a few times just put them back theyd never go for the bait thought they attack the bobber so i put a hook thru a chunk of styrofoam
