I am curious about having two very cool fish in the same tank. Right now I have a single Brichardi swimming around (with two female guppies) for about 2 months now. Would it make trouble in the tank if I added One Cavlus Cichlid to the tank? Making it a Calvus Cichlid swimming with a Brichardi Cichlid.
Feedback or tips =)

*PEACE!*

Yeah matt, but I don't think guppies live long enough. :p

How big of a tank is this? Brichardi are nasty when breeding, but for the most part are pretty calm when kept alone. And calvus are pretty calm in general.

Again, what's the tank size? You might be able to do a lot more than just these. But I have a feeling that's it's on the smallish size and your probably pretty maxed as is.

Instead of a Calvus. add a Krib, theyre the same size as Brichardi, or a single convict(ie make sure the convict is younger & smaller than the brichardi, & female, which are somewht less tempermental).

Thanks for the replies! Sorry i forgot to mention I have a 20 gallon tank. Small yes but it's a 20 gallon Length wise (wide). And I have a large rock in the center that I have seen fish use as a fair barrier before. The brichardi is no bigger than a large female guppy. Speaking of the guppies =) I don't mind if they are eaten, i have them in there for reasons I forgot. Nevertheless, Thanks for the tips! If you want to continue sending more advice i'm all ears! *thumbsups

kribs are good lol. i love em to bits now lol =] the fighter in your pic (sketchsurfer) looks just like mine. beautiful huh?
Seriously, the fighter is a great looking fish. at one point i put his tank close to the brichardi's on a cleaning day and both were flaring at each other. i had no idea the brichardi could do that *laughingc
