Im planning to get U.V. Sterilizer for my 29g tank
It was suppose to b non-aggressive FOWLR but then started buying fragspawn/zoe/ etc beginner corals. If i add the U.V. Sterilizer, would it affect the corals/fish/inverts?
i do have a lot of green/red algea growing in my tank and would like to reduce it.

Should not affect unless you put some kind of plankton that would be zapped but UV is kinda pimpin' a tank when you got a good skimmer and pretty clean water, it's not a solid solution IMO. Got a skimmer ? Do you use RO/DI ? DO you have a strong flow ? To fight cyano ( and algaes in general ), you need to avoid dead spots in the water. Also tap water isn't really optimal..often leads to diatom blooms, hair algaes...and cyano.
Also do you feed a lot ? Maybe start with a good water change to reduce po4.
