Okay, they're cute as can be especially when they peek out of their hidy holes at me but I just want to shake them sometimes. lol I put in a giant black mystery snail, the biggest my LFS had!, and sure enough those silly clowns tipped him over! I took it ot immedately and it's now living with Frank the Betta.

Is their anything I can use to turn over my sand that those silly sods won't eat??

Yeah, even the largest of snails will get attacked by clown loaches. :(

The only thing I can think of would be some kind of freshwater goby or perhaps kuhli or dojo loaches. I don't know if your tank is planted, but the dojo or kuhli loaches may dig up plants while playing in the sand.

Yeah I know LoachDude, but I was prepared to perform a rescue mission if it all went wrong. A friend has 2 clown loaches and a gigantuan snail and the loaches don't bother it so I thought I'd try. It's happy living with Frank the Betta and the 3 USD catfish now so all is well. :D
