Hey I have lots of 10gallon tanks across myt house Im a cichild guy though. Ive thought about making a nano tank but Cant I just cycle a 10 gallon tank as a brackish water setup and use a set of puffers? Then whenever I want add more salt? Isnt that bascially the same as everything ya'll are talking about or AM i just loosing my mind. I neeed to learn about saltwater fast though cause Im about to be the aquatics specialist at my local petco lol

yes, you could do what you describe however filtration, lighting, etc are all very different between brackish and SW so you would probably need to start over again to have success going from brackish to SW
