Im new to saltwater but have been reading quite a bit. I have about 45 or so pounds of uncured LR with some base rock in a 75g curing for about a week now with an AQ 300 filter and a seaclone 100 skimmer. I did water tests and during the time i didnt get any ammonia spike at all. The readings are pretty close to nil no more than .25 but the nitrite is sitting currently at 3.0. The rock seems to be coming along nicely with some colors etc.
Im thinking there wont be any ammonia showing up since the nitrite is up now. Should i add some pure household ammonia to bring the ammonia up or is it still to early?
