I picked up a few of these at Petland yesterday... They've been at the shop for probably over a month and none seem to have grown at all. I'm wondering if this is a very slow growing loach or just a small species? I also have no idea about the scientific name. They were sold to the LFS as a "Bi-color botia" which is just SO descriptive. The closest I could seem to find on loaches.com was this one....
