In my brothers 45gal. 2 dalmatin mollies were found dead all torn up but I don't believe there were any agressive fish in there at the time who might have done it. However there was a full grown blue gorami but I dont know about him because he never bothered them that I saw. And they had lived together for quite a while.

Were they new additions? Might they have died and then been nibbled later?

The gourami is the only one in there that should be even sort of a threat to a molly, but I would think it would go after tetras if it was prone to attacking other fish, so I'm not sure what to tell you.

Correction ruger1022 (not that I want to be a know it all), this happened when I had fish in the 15 gallon tank. I had 3 corys, a blue gorami, a common pleco, 3 mollies 3 blue neon tetras, 3 redfin tetras and 3 neon black neons. The mollies were not new additions they were in there for at least a month before they died. I have been wondering what happened to them. My guess is that they died and then were chewed on by the other fish, but I don't know for sure.
