So Electra my new lil Female Betta is doing "better" then when she arrived. She seems to be loosing her stress band some now on occasions. She isnt agressive toward my surviving Platy Fry whos about an inch long now. However, ive found extreme difficulty in getting her to eat. She did however eat alot last night for some reason, more than id EVER seen her eat. It was her 5th day without eating thou so she was starved im sure. She isnt to interested in the flakes or bloodworms or pellets. She has tasted the flakes and pellets and spit both out except for last night when she ate like 5 flakes real fast then left the top. She spends alot of time patroling the bottom and looking at her reflection in the marbles. Should i be worried that i havent seen her eat anything but once in the 6 days ive had her? She had been in the LFS since before i even got my Jewel cichlid i returned so shes not sick. She was in with 1 other female which she had stressed out and beaten up a lil. She had no stress marks when i was looking at her but when the owner bagged her he spun her around like a typhoon and gave her stress marks and she has had them off and on from then til now. The tank shes in now has been up and running for over a year so it cant be uncycled and i washed it when felix died keeping all media so its no disease, cant be. Anyone know if shes just shy or if i should be worried? Id like Bass's Opinion if she doesnt mind giving it please.
