Hey Guys, haven't posted in awhile. Thought id update everyone and ask for an update on everyones tanks. Thyra, Misterking, OrangeCones, Lauraf and any others who wish to share. Id like an update on each of your individual tanks :D

So here's mine. All 4 guppys are doing GREAT and since ive started feeding them once a day there stomach isnt bulgy or to thin. Its that nice small curved stomach *thumbsups my algae eater is still doin good too. He receives a nice half a algae tablet and Shrimp Pellet diet (on different days of course not all at once :) )

I have pond snails comin outta my ears, if only i had a pea puffer LOL! he would never run out of food. I grind up over 20 a day around the top area for the guppys to have a lil snack and the algae eater also. And the next day it seems like 40 more are in there place haha. I am gonna just go threw and kill as many as i can in a few days. I dont like sticking my arm in my tank to kill snails, scared im going to cause my Alage Eater to run into the castle and hurt hiself, he's still jitery when he sees me unless i sit VERY still haha.

My Golden Mystery snail is a very 'mysterious' snail indeed. I Never see him out of his shell completely and moving. However, when i go to bed hes in one place, the next morning he's in another haha. He likes to hide in the dark corners of the castle cave. most of my snails have been movers. They move constantly except to rest at night, he seems to be the opposite. Odd lil snail haha.

Well leme know how you guys's tanks are :)

Glad to hear everything's going well.

As I'm still a broke student, my 9g is still empty and I'm really no further on than I was. The project will probably remain stalled for at least another year, until I move and get settled in London and opera school. The pond's just about coming back to life and I'm looking forward to seeing if any of last year's goldfish fry survived the especially harsh winter we had.

I was concerned about how you survived all the tornadoes in NC, but obviously you weren't among the casualties. All 6 tanks are doing well. I am finding out things that are working for me aren't necessarily what works for others. My community tank with a betta has been really good. The betta is just one of the troops. The interesting thing is there are 4 danios in there and they aren't nearly as active as others have describe them. The platies and betta are the whole show! The most active fish I have are the High Fin Tetra Minors (Serpaes) They are a real kick and I have them in two tanks. There have been no problems with fin nipping although I would not take a chance and put any bettas in those two tanks. There are three bettas in the three other tanks and I am finding those are the most time consuming tanks to keep up. They are smaller and seem to acquire more algae quicker.

Hi! I had a couple wasting fish in my 39g, and for the first time I tried medication. It didn't work and if anything it seemed to hasten their demise. But other than losing the yoyo loach and swordtail, everything has been good - my valls are finally filling in the way I hoped . . . . And my betta, ADFs and shrimp seem to be excellent roommates in the 5g, no issues there . . . .

Great point, ive always wanted to have Bettas and Frogs together. Yea Thyra, actually, a tornado came within like 10-15 miles of my house, scary stuff. We had a funnul cloud within 2 miles of my house but it dicipated and never formed fully. Thank GOD!

My next tank i ever get will be after college. Which is a GOOD ways away. I can already see my house, 18 55 gallon tanks in one room LMAO! Alright where is ms. OC's update?
