I scored a pair of these upside down Synodontis catfish from the LFS. I wanted a better and more fascinating alternative to plain Corydoras catfish. They often emerged during the first week in captivity. For the past week or two these fish have vanished into the dense plant jungle and driftwood. I am not sure they are still alive. I wish I had got something different.

I have had one in my 55 for about 3 months now. A month and a half or so ago, I lost track of the little guy, figured him for dead after a few weeks, till yesterday, finally caught him swimming below a plastic leaf.

I have 3 and I love them! I had trouble with them hiding inside a hollow peice of wood so I took it out and put several smaller peices of wood and some more big leafed plants. They actually come out more now I guess because they feel safe with some many more places to hide.

The tiniest one zips about fast as lighting when I feed everybody. The other two come out after I turn the lights off. I have a lamp with a blue bulb in it so I can see them after dark. :)
