Upside down mystery snail?

I've got 6 mystery snails total. 3 gold, 3 black. Two in each of my tanks. The black one in my 55 has an issue where if he/she winds-up 'hatch side' up, he'll stay that way until I flip him back over?

Other than that, this snail is quite active, always cruising all over the place. His gold tank mate is even more insanely active. Every time you look in there he's doing his glide maneuver where he decides to jump off of stuff. Wheeeeee!!! Thud..

We had 2 black mystery snails, however we are down to one after he thought the fish eggs our Jellybean Parrot laid would make a good snack, he found out that working jaw or not they can still do damage to soft bodies.

As far as him not writing himself, maybe he was a catfish in his prior life ?
