URGENT EMPEROR HELP!

Okay, I just did a major cleanup of the gravels, exchanged the air stones, rearranged things for new plants to arrive, added one real plant and 2 plant bulbs, all with 40% water change. I turned off the Emperor filter, but left the AquaTech filter on. Now, the Emperor is not working right. It is working, but at one speed only and its on the lowest speed. Yes, I did try to adjust it, but no change.

After messing around with the tube, it appears to increase in speed the higher I pull the switch, but each levels are slower than before I unplugged it. Could it be normal for a filter to operate on a high level and once its been turned off and turned back on, the operation lessen?

I would check to make sure that the intake tube is seated good, as well as no massive gobs of anything are keeping it from getting good water flow.

Pull your impeller out and make sure it is clean, wile it's out clean the hole it sticks down into.
