Using fertilizer during cycling?

I'm currently cycling my new tank, and I added some plants in there during the cycle. Will this hurt the cycling at all? I thought it might help because they came from a mature tank so I thought it might add a little beneficial bacteria to the tank. Also, should I fertilize the plants while the tank is cycling? Or should I wait?

Plants will only help with your tank cycling as long as they're healthy and growing If the plants need ferts right now, then I dont think they can hurt the cycle. Actually have heard from time to time that adding some of the things that are in ferts will help a tank cycle more quickly.

Yeah I didn't even see a cycle, plants eat it all up. Fert didn't do anything at all to the cycle.
