Very large Salt water tank

hey guys, im new to the site, but i consider myself an expert aquarius, and if not, im pretty close. Right now i have a have a 50 gallon salt/brackish setup with a large black ghost knife, a dinosaur bichir, a silver tipped shark, a silver dollar, and such. however, i am getting a 500 gallon for super cheap, but it has no filter. i was wondering if i should build my own (i know how perfectly) which would cost about $300, or should i buy one? i am having trouble finding a filter big enough for a 500 gallon tank. the closest thing i can come to is buying two smaller filters. any help?

build your own. just make sure you can make it fool proof before you put the money into it though, you dont want any issues with leaks and such.

I would get an fx5 or two....

I wouldn't do any kind of canister filter -- a sump is the way to go with saltwater tanks.
